The US giant e-commerce Amazon, enter into the segment of Domestic Travel domain with the Collaboration of Mumbai based online travel company ClearTrip.com. Amazon will use the Inventory of Cleartrip for Flight Bookings.
In an official Statement Amazon release, the customer can book the flight tickets and avail reward by following simple steps.
The customer can book Domestic flights, using the existing accounts detail and payment procedure. Customers can see the payable amount including all applicable charges such as convenience fees which are shown transparently. In case customers need to cancel a ticket, they only pay the airline cancellation penalty with Amazon not levying any additional charges, the company said.
During the launching period from 17 May to 31 May 2019, the company is offering a discount of upto Rs 2000 for the prime user and non- primer user upto Rs 1600.
This will help Clear trip to boost their business among the other Travel portal Booking.com, Expedia.com, Yatra, TravelGuru, Paytm, Easymytrip, HappyGoeasy.
Since the Indian Home-grown e-commerce company, Flipkart is also following the same partnership with the MakeMyTrip since 2018 onwards. The Travel giant Ctrip recently hold the 49% stake in MakeMyTrip with the exists of Nasper.com. The MakeMyTrip acquired the Goibibo.com in 2017 to expand its business and market penetration in India. It’s one of the most trusted and reliable websites in India.
