Snapdeal, received an undisclosed amount of investment from the Executive director Anand Piramal, with his personal capacity. The Softbank E-commerce company has received fresh funding after 2 years.
Snapdeal 2.0 strategy has allowed it to rapidly build a differentiated business, with a sharp focus on value-priced merchandise- the largest segment in retail.
The company is focusing on Tier II and Tier III cities customer as 60% of its business comes from these cities only and buyer have huge potential too. Snapdeal has on-boarded more than 5000 vendors in the last 2 years.
